ABOUT FLYASH
Fly ash is a fine grey powder consisting mostly of spherical, glassy particles that are produced as a by-product in coal-fired power stations. Fly ash has pozzolanic properties, meaning that it reacts with lime to form cementitious compounds. It is commonly known as a supplementary cementitious material.
The properties of Fly Ash may vary widely, both physically and chemically, depending upon the nature of coal, the efficiency of coal combustion process and the selection process. Quality Assurance and Quality Control criteria vary for each use of fly ash from state to state and source to source.
APC has a DIRECT ALLOCATION of more than 700 Tons Per Day(TPD) for fly ash from various Thermal Power Plants in Maharashtra. Details of allocation are given below:
1. Bhusawal Thermal Power Station – 200 TPD
2. Nashik Thermal Power Station – 300 TPD
3. Paras Thermal Power Station – 50 TPD
4. Parli Thermal Power Station – 50 TPD
5. JSW Jaigarh Thermal Power Station – 100TPD
DURAPOZZ CLASSIFIED FLYASH
At APC, we can classify the Fly Ash as per our client’s requirements. By classifying and processing, we ensure that a large proportion of our Fly Ash is composed of fine particles, which results in a consistent product.
Over year’s we have constantly worked in developing our product DURAPOZZ by enhancing its quality by doing research to ensure that super fine ash quality is available for our customers.
DURAPOZZ is classified and processed Fly Ash having ROS up to 20 %. Fly Ash procured from Thermal Power Plants is classified to get desired quality of Fly Ash. The classification process gives very fine ash with adequate pozzolanic activity and is suitable for producing high-performance concrete with excellent durability, particularly when exposed to aggressive environments.
Following quality variants of Fly Ash is provided by us:
- As per ISO 9001:2015
- DURAPOZZ (Classified Ash)
- Fine (Upto 20 ROS),
- Super Fine (Upto 12 ROS),
- Ultra Fine (Upto 5 ROS)
Packing
DURAPOZZ is available in bags & in Bulk.
In Bulk: Bulkers (25 Tons to 35 Tons)
- Green Product
- Better coverage area in plaster
